Add Guided Imagery & Hypnosis to Your Current Diet-Exercise Program
to Make it More Effective and Provide Permanent Weight Loss & Lifestyle
Changes. This program is not a substitute for healthy eating and exercise,
however, it will positively impact your existing  program for lasting change.
This unique audio program combines three (3) proven practices to help accelerate your
learning and achieving healthy weight loss.
Each of these methods has been successful at
facilitating successful, safe and efficient change in the mind and body. By combining these
practices into one powerful program you will accelerate your learning and healing of excessive
weight gain that has been caused  by
emotional eating behaviors, bad habits, lack of exercise
and low motivation
-- allowing new, deeper and lasting communication between your physical,
mental and emotional bodies.

Following is a description of each and how they provide a healing path that will open up your
mind, body & spirit, allowing them to experience effective and desired change safely and naturally.

This is  not a Magic Bullet. But in many cases it works like one.

Behavior Change:
This is the combination of two therapies. Cognitive, which teaches you or shows you how certain
“thinking patterns” are causing your symptoms and Behavior, which weakens the “mind pattern
connections”  between  trouble-some situations and your habitual reactions to them.

Altering ways of thinking — a person's thoughts, beliefs, ideas, attitudes, assumptions, mental
imagery, and ways of directing his or her attention for the better. This is the “cognitive” aspect of
Behavior Change. Helping a person greet the challenges and opportunities in his or her life with a
clear and calm mind and then taking actions that are likely to have desirable results. This is the
“behavioral” aspect of Behavior Change Therapy

Example: We use Behavior Change when we learn about Emotional Eating Patterns. We discover
how our unique  personalities interact with stressful life situations and how this interaction can be
causing inner repression of feelings and using food as a substitute for feeling an emotion. We
then alter, or interrupt certain mind patterns that can be causing emotional eating and then
redirect our attention to produce more desirable  results. In a journal you may write,
"I eat when I
am feeling_____________. (stressed, sad, bored).
You begin to discover that you eat when you are sad as a way of not having to feel sad.
This is an important first step. You then begin to accept this and have the intention to
change this behavior by learning how to feel the sadness instead of splurging on food.
(the process of experiencing emotions is a learning practice that is discussed in the audio
program and then reinforced with hypnosis and guided imagery.

Hypnosis

Hypnosis is an altered, heightened state of awareness during which our subconscious mind is
more open and receptive to suggestions that are given. In one sense hypnosis is the same
practice as Guided  Imagery, however, hypnosis will more frequently include the use of verbal
suggestions.  These specific suggestions are given to your subconscious in this heightened
state of awareness which is now more  receptive and likely to be
acted upon in a positive way.
Just as in Guided Imagery, the ideal conditions for an effective hypnosis practice are: Being in a
relaxed and focused altered state where you can be open and undisturbed in an environment that
allows for a unforced and non-controlling state.

Hypnosis is well documented to help with; Weight Loss, Stop Smoking, Increasing Confidence,
Achieving  Peak Performance, Eliminating Fears, Reducing Stress & Anxiety,Immune System
Disorders and Pain Management.

Example: in a relaxed and heightened state of alertness…repeating these words to yourself. ”I
know that when I appreciate my body and my feelings...I have more energy to take care of them
and accept them...I know when I respect my body and my feelings...I live my life with directed
purposed and increased focus...More and more I commit myself...to taking care of my body and
my feelings...more and more I welcome the new health and energy that is with me now...allowing
me to appreciate, respect and take better care of myself now."

Guided Imagery

Guided Imagery is a practice of purposefully directing your imagination to help your mental being,
emotional being and your physical body heal or perform well. This technique is used to image
weight loss, relieve stress, explore psychological conflicts, manage pain and achieve peak
performance. It is sometimes described as an intended or purposeful daydream in which many of
your sensory images are used: sights, sounds, tastes, smells and feeling. The best conditions
for practicing Guided Imagery exercises are: Being in a relaxed, focused, altered state where you
allow a permissive, unforced atmosphere to preside.

Many studies over the past years show that imagery can heighten your metabolism & immune
system, lower fatigue, increase energy, alleviate depression, lower blood pressure, increase
relaxation and reduce the perception of pain. What these and other studies have shown us is that
our mind and body are not separate. The energy of images, thoughts and emotions are
simultaneously accompanied by changes in the biochemistry of our bodies.

Example: in a relaxed and heightened state…“now take a deep purposeful breath and relax as
you image yourself vital, strong and healthy...moving your body and feeling the lightness and
balance in your movements, the firmness of your muscles and the energy and aliveness all
around you. Feel and image that your are at your healthy weight, enjoying the lightness in your
movements, the gracefulness as you stretch your body...and now imaging yourself doing
whatever exercise or movement you desire...see yourself engaged in this activity in all of your
surroundings...taking in all the sights and sounds...enjoying the perfect elegance of the mind and
body being in balance with each other...flowing freely and easily...
